Autism Group Home Independent Living
Autism Group Home Independent Living gives young adults with an Autism Spectrum Disorder the opportunity to learn the life skills needed to live independently in the community and aids in the development of confidence, self-esteem and interpersonal relationships in order to teach practical living skills and community safety.
- We give young adults with Autism the opportunity to learn how to live on their own with their peers in a safe environment.
- They develop the necessary skills to manage money, prepare meals and develop responsibilities as a young adult.
- The ASD Independent Living Program provides individuals the opportunity to develop meaningful relationships as they enhance their social skills.
Enhance Social Skills
- Often tension and anxiety interfere with their ability to cope. With daily meetings, role playing and practice, each resident improves at a pace that is comfortable to them.
