Hacienda HealthCare Group Homes and Medical Group Homes are uniquely caring programs dedicated to providing individualized support to members with developmental disabilities. We want to encourage the highest level of independence, while still promoting human developmental skills including fine motor skills, self-help skills, gross motor skills, cognitive skills and social skills.
Currently Hacienda HealthCare provides support for eight licensed Group Homes within residential neighborhoods throughout the Valley. Five of those Group Homes have 24-hour nursing and caregiving support, while two of them are Non-Medical homes that are also staffed with 24 hour trained caregivers.
The eighth Group Home that Hacienda HealthCare provides is a home specifically designed for individuals who have been diagnosed with autism. It is the first of its kind in Arizona. Unlike the other seven Homes, this home services individuals for the sole purpose of promoting independence and the eventual graduation into an individually designed living arrangement (IDLA).
In addition to the Group Home Supports, Hacienda provides individually designed living arrangements (IDLA). The IDLAs provide the least restrictive environment while promoting independence and continuing education. The staffing support promotes patient safety. The IDLAs provide a unique opportunity for the individual to integrate into his community, increase his self-reliance and build his self-confidence. The ultimate goal is for each patient to be able to live a truly independent life.
All of our services and care are focused on promoting self-determination and independence in an effort to increase the quality of life of those we support.
