This program allows its participants to experience different work environments before they choose a prevocational work site.
This will allow the participants in learning and mastering the personal and interpersonal skills that are necessary for them to be successful in their chosen fields. During their work experience, we emphasize social skills, problem solving, chain of command, hygiene, employer expectations and punctuality. The program provides the skills and knowledge necessary to secure gainful employment.
As participants approach graduation, they are assisted in securing employment by working closely with a Job Developer/Job Coach. When their training is complete, Hacienda will also provide the graduates with letters of recommendation that specify the training they have received and the skills they have acquired.
